With the CANchecked SWD32 Gen2 data display you always have all data in view

The universal SWD32 Gen2 fits any flat sports steering wheel with a 6×70 bolt pattern and a horn hole. It’s an intelligent display with features you won’t want to be without. The lightweight plastic housing impresses with its symmetrical appearance.

Steering wheel not included.

Key Features

• Can Bus:Reading out in-depth vehicle data such as manufacturer diagnostic tools
• Gear display:Directly via Can Bus or calculated from speed and rpm
• Touchscreen:Navigate through the pages using intuitive swipe gestures
• Customization:Design your own pages, add your own images or your own start animation
• Additional inputs:Connect up to 4 analog inputs and an ethanol sensor directly to the display
• Can Switching:Use your display as a keypad and send your own Can messages to the bus
• Customizable Alarms:Individual alerts can be easily configured and activated. For example, receive a large warning message when the exhaust temperature exceeds 900 degrees Celsius.
• Logging:Log and save your data for later analysis on the internal SD card
• Performance Meter:Measure your 0-100, 100-200 and 0-200 times with the integrated Performance Meter without any additional hardware
• DTC*:Read and clear errors from engine control unit, transmission, ABS and all-wheel drive
• Dimming*:Your display dims automatically along with the instrument panel

Different views

Configure your own page or choose from various pre-designed views:

• The display is delivered with predefined sample pages
• Creating your own pages is possible and desired
• Up to ten pages possible
• 20 different widget types (e.g. sensor value, analog pointer, YT diagram, rpm bar, round display, vertical/horizontal bar)
• Widgets are scalable and can be positioned using drag and drop
• Widget colors fully adjustable
• Up to 64 widgets per page

Display Setup Software – DSS

With the CANcheckedyou can completely customize your display to your needs. The integrated log viewer lets you download and view log files. A CAN logger is also integrated. The centerpiece is the integrated “TRI Editor,” which allows you to customize the sensors (whether CAN bus or internal): Assign min/max values for warnings and change the names of your sensors.

Supported values

Many customers always ask: “Which values can I query from my control unit?” The answer: “ALL”

We’ve reverse-engineered the data for most engines and can offer in-depth information. Our display supports CAN bus data retrieval (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols) (ISO 9141) and OBD2.

By default, your display comes with pre-built TRI/TRX files. These files define all the sensors that will be queried. These vary from motor to motor. Here’s an excerpt of what’s possible:

Temperatures:

• Exhaust temperature, coolant temperature, oil temperature, intake temperature, outside temperature, fuel temperature, DSG temperature

Pressures:

• Boost pressure, ambient pressure, fuel pressure pre-feed pump, rail pressure actual/target

Lambda/mixture

• Lambda value, injection time, short-term lambda adjustment, long-term lambda adjustment

Miscellaneous

• Engine speed, air mass, vehicle speed, throttle angle, ignition angle total, ignition angle retardation per cylinder, N75 activation in %, terminal 30 voltage, torque, gear, diesel-specific values

If any values are missing, we can add them later.

Of course, your new data display supports a wide range of freely programmable control units such as:

• DTA Fast
• Ecumaster
• Emerald
• Emtron
• Haltech
• Hondata
• KMS van Kronenburg
• LinkECU
• MaxxECU
• MBE
• Megasquirt
• Motec
• Motorsport Electronics
• Syvecs
• Triject
• VEMS

Scope of delivery

Every delivery includes:

• SWD32 Gen2 data display with lightweight plastic housing
• Connector A (8-way Molex)
• Connector B (10-way Molex)
• Pre-assembled connection cables in various colors (length: 20 cm, intended use: power supply, CAN bus, analog inputs, 5V, sensor ground)
• Pins for crimping yourself
• Two 1K resistors (as pull-up for connecting external NTC sensors)
• Quickstart Guide
• USB data cable
• SD card (pre-installed in the display)
• SD card adapter
• Display film (to prevent reflections)

Connection and expansion

Any sensor can be connected via the four analog inputs we support both linear 0-5V and NTC sensors.
Our proprietary CANchecked sensors are stored in the TRI/TRX files by default and simply need to be connected:

• AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
• AIN2: Converter for exhaust gas temperature probe type K (TCC01)
• AIN3: Pressure sensor 0-10 bar (FLP01)
• AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0-5.5 bar absolute (BST01)

You can use our pre-assembled AIN wiring harness for the connection.

In addition to the analog sensors, you can also connect our external shift light with 8 LEDs. This can flash in different colors, and the rev limits and colors can be configured directly on the display.

Connect the ethanol sensor directly to the display. You need a pull-up resistor (10K) between 5V and the signal. You can then view and log the ethanol content and temperature directly on the display.

Advanced features

Math channels allow you to calculate sensors with each other. User tables allow you to generate additional sensors using 2D or 3D maps.
