BMW G42 M240i Fi Exhaust(Frequency Intelligent Exhaust) high-performancevalvetronic exhaust systemis direct replacementbolt onsystem manufactured out of a high-grade T304 stainless steel that offers an exhilarating soundtrack.

BMW G42 M240i Fi EXHAUST system is designed with a valvetronic technology to control airflow, sound volume and enhance the overall performance and torque. On average horsepower is expected to increase from5-10%after installing a full catless system, which includes a valvetronic catback and ultra-high flow downpipe.

When valves are closed exhaust gasses are routed through the muffler resulting in a low-profile comfortable drive. However, when the valves are fully open an intense and sporty soundtrack is produced.

Depending on your car modeland exhaust setup, switching exhaust valves between street and race modes may be achieved using a factory exhaust/sport button, drive modes, or by selecting the Fi Pro remote control upgrade. Please note thatnot all options are available for every model. Refer to the available section andcontact our representative for confirmation.

The unique sound and performance for BMW BMW G42 M240i is achieved throughindividually designedmuffler internals that are fabricated to offer an ultimate driving experience.

Please note each part of the Fi EXHAUST system needs to be ordered separately.
Exhaust system is available for both OPF/Non-OPF vehicles.
Different exhaust parts are offered depending on the vehicle version.

Please note that the actual product may vary in appearance depending on the year of the car and area. The exhaust system is also subject to changes to the design over an extended time period. Product pictures are for illustration purposes only.

Valve

All Fi EXHAUST exhaust systems are equipped with valvetronic technology. This technology is not only used to control sound volume, but also enhance overall performance of the vehicle. Before the inception of this technology, horsepower and torque were irreconcilable contradictions in the design of exhaust systems. This allowed sports cars to have high torque power at low rev speeds and even higher horsepower capability at high rev speeds.

Ceramic Coating

Fi EXHAUST eliminates traditional thermal insulation materials that contain toxic substances, and directly coats the exhaust pipe with a nano-ceramic coating to protect from corrosion, reduce heat exposure to heat sensitive components in the engine bay and keeps temperature low. Its a great way to improve longevity of the exhaust and other components prone to thermal degradation like wiring.

NON-OPF / OPF

OPF is also known as particulate filter or GPF gasoline particulate filter. In recent years, new car models will be equipped with this filter on the exhaust system in order to comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Fi EXHAUST versions will also be developed on OPF and non-OPF vehicles to make sure fitment is precise.

Quad Tips

Silver:

The silver color tips are standard and are included with a valvetronic catback purchase. Each tip is engraved with Fi EXHAUST logo.

Titanium Blue:

Titanium blue tips are heat colored to achieve a beautiful color transition from silver to blue and purple color combination.

Diamond Black:

After electroplating and double polishing process a shiny and glossy color surface is achieved on diamond black tips. Each tip is engraved with Fi EXHAUST logo.

Gold:

After electroplating and double polishing process a shiny and gold color surface is achieved on gold tips. Each tip is engraved with Fi EXHAUST logo.

Carbon Fiber:

Made out of a high-grade carbon fiber that can withstand high temperatures. The inserts come standard in silver. However, the inserts can be customized in other colors like gold and black. Fi EXHAUST logo engraving is available in many color variations like red and black, gold or black to match with the insert color.

ABOUT Fi EXHAUST – The Industry Driver of the Premier Performance Exhaust Systems.
Combined the traditional craftsmanship and innovation technology.

Frequency Intelligent Exhaust aka Fi EXHAUST is the world’s first-rate aftermarket automotive exhaust brand which specializes in exhausts for supercars, sports cars and high-performance vehicles for marques such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, BMW M, Audi, Nissan, and others.

From the outset, Fi R&D team has consistently engineered high-quality exhaust systems for car enthusiasts, who pursue a superior sound and performance and require an exhaust system that will perform in all conditions. Thats why Fi EXHAUST products are made to produce maximum optimized performance. Fi produces a beautiful tone from deep bass to an exotic high-pitched Formula One racing sound depending on a car model’s requirements. And to achieve this optimized state every exhaust system is carefully sound tuned and undergoes rigorous testing to a specific frequency with our intelligent control system.

High Quality Fi EXHAUST

To determine the perfect balance between horsepower and torque, our design team obtains data from a prototype model and uses CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to design and manufacture the exhaust system. CAD allows designers to simulate and calibrate optimal hydrodynamic models more precisely. All the CAD designs are stored in an in-depth database, which provides invaluable and critical information to continually enhance.

With the intention of making the pipeline smoother and fitter, we use the unique pipe bending machine to reduce the joints of the pipeline and will probably lower the joints issues. A 3D Laser cutting technology is used alongside this process when encountering some joints that cant be bent. After running computer calculations cuts are made to produce joints that are close to each other and improve durability of the product.

Each set of the exhaust systems by Fi EXHAUST will go through three manual polishing procedures. During this step both inner and outer walls are polished. This reduces unevenness of the pipe wall to improve exhaust gas flow efficiency.
